- will present the economic effects of innovation and digitalization in aquaculture
Mr. Sletmo previously served as Head of Investor Relations at Cermaq, Seafood Analyst and Head of Research at ABG Sundal Collier, and Portfolio Manager and Head of Norwegian Equities at Nordea Investment Management. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and a degree in Economics and Business Administration (siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics. Mr. Sletmo joined DNB Bank in 2014.

- will present Hav Line’s new slaughter boat (Sekkingstad and Haugland)
Jon Hindar holds a MSc degre in Chemistry from NTNU in Trondheim and has attended IMD in Lausanne (PED program). He currently holds different BoD positions within the financial and seafood sectors, amongst other chairman of Argentum, Klaveness Marine, Hav Line Gruppen and boardmember of NRS. Hindar was CEO in Cermaq Group 2012 - 2016.
Jón Birgir Gunnarsson
Director of Sales and Marketing, Skaginn 3X
- will present different Icelandic innovations, amongst others, ice free cooling systems, and how these will benefit the industry.
As most Icelanders Gunnarsson grew up around fisheries and fish processing and spent his young adulthood as a Mechanic serving the Icelandic fishing fleet. After acquiring a Mechanical Engineering Diploma Gunnarsson started his carrier at Icelandic Equipment provider Marel. Within Marel Gunnarsson enjoyed an impressive carrier, including management and leadership roles such as leading the group seafood activities and serving as executive board member. Gunnarsson graduated with an MBA degree from the University of Iceland in 2009. After spending the last years at the fast growing high tech start up Controlant Gunnarsson has recently joined Skaginn 3X as a Director of Sales and Marketing. Gunnarsson has a family of four plus a dog, in addition to that his wife has a cat. He enjoys traveling, taking photos, cycling and socialising with friends over a nice meal and the occasional glass of red wine.
Ingunn Midttun Godal
Global Manager Food & Beverage, DNV GL Business Assurance
- will look at Digitalization as a sustainable must for future seafood growth.
Ingunn M. Godal holds a MSc degree in Chemistry from NTNU in Trondheim and has attended executive programs in Management at IMD in Lausanne and in Technology at Berkeley. She currently has the global responsibility for the Food & Beverage Industry Sector. She started her career in DNV in 1993 and moved on to public sector in 2005. She has held senior executive positions in the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, the Norwegian Environment Agency and the Norwegian Labour- and Welfare Administration. She re-joined DNV GL in October 2016.
