Joseph L. Bundrant
Chief Executive Officer
Trident Seafoods Corporation

Joseph L. Bundrant, son of company founder Chuck Bundrant, is the Chief Executive Officer of Trident Seafoods Corporation. Headquartered in Seattle, Trident operates a fleet of modern offshore vessels and more than a dozen shore-based processing plants in coastal communities throughout Alaska. Trident's Northwest presence includes value-adding facilities in Seattle, Anacortes, Bellingham and Everett. With secondary processing facilities & sales offices located around the globe, Trident has grown to become the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America. What started with a single vessel, the Billikin, in 1973, Trident’s annual sales are in excess of $1.80 billion.
Born on the remote island of Kodiak, Alaska Joe literally grew up with a fish in each hand and since then has continued the tradition of growing the family-owned business from the inside out, nurturing loyal employees and extending Trident’s brand and trusted reputation around the globe. Married to his high school sweetheart for 30 years, Joe and Mary Bundrant live in Richmond Beach, Washington and take great pride in their two married daughters, three sons, and two grandchildren.

Birna Einarsdottir, CEO, Íslandsbanki

Birna was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Íslandsbanki in October 2008. In 2007 Birna accepted the position of Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking at Íslandsbanki, having previously served as Managing Director of Sales and Marketing, Branch Manager and Marketing Director at the Bank.
From 1998-2004, Birna was senior product manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Birna has also worked as Marketing Manager for the Icelandic Broadcasting Company, Stöd 2, and Íslensk getspá. She is currently the Chairman of the Icelandic Financial Services Association.
Birna holds a Cand. Oecon. degree in Business Administration from the University of Iceland and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh.

Jón Birgir Gunnarsson, Director of Sales and Marketing, Skaginn 3X

As most Icelanders Gunnarsson grew up around fisheries and fish processing and spent his young adulthood as a Mechanic serving the Icelandic fishing fleet. After acquiring a Mechanical Engineering Diploma Gunnarsson started his carrier at Icelandic Equipment provider Marel. Within Marel Gunnarsson enjoyed an impressive carrier, including management and leadership roles such as leading the group seafood activities and serving as executive board member. Gunnarsson graduated with an MBA degree from the University of Iceland in 2009. After spending the last years at the fast growing high tech start up Controlant Gunnarsson has recently joined Skaginn 3X as a Director of Sales and Marketing. Gunnarsson has a family of four plus a dog, in addition to that his wife has a cat. He enjoys traveling, taking photos, cycling and socialising with friends over a nice meal and the occasional glass of red wine.

Elisabeth Fischer, Editor, IntraFish Media

IntraFish Editor Elisabeth Fischer joined the company as a reporter in 2012 in London and is now based in Berlin, Germany, from where she covers the global fish and seafood industry. Prior to joining IntraFish, she wrote about a number of different industries for a variety of digital publications. She's a graduate from the City University of London and the University of Salzburg, Austria.
Back in 2015, she spearheaded the groundbreaking IntraFish 'Women in Seafood' series, offering the most comprehensive overview of key obstacles facing women in the seafood workforce, and providing insight into the industry's most successful women.
